The AIRCAP 1™ was conceptualized and designed by a 25+ year spa industry veteran. After years of being asked by customers whether there was anything else out there other than the 40-year-old foam-wrapped-in-vinyl technology, we can finally say yes!
The AIRCAP 1™ is a lightweight, durable hot tub cover with no foam core to waterlog — built to outlast the foam covers it replaces. It's made from the same material premium inflatable paddleboards are made from, and our manufacturing facility uses the best quality-control practices found in the top paddleboard brands. We use our AirLoc™ process of heat-welding all components, ensuring the AIRCAP 1™ is built to withstand the elements for years to come.
Our patent-pending Ziptech™ system gets you a replacement cover fast, too. We understood that waiting 8–10 weeks for a replacement foam cover was a pain, so we fixed that while we were at it. The AIRCAP 1™ comes in six sizes covering square spas from 77" to 94" — our Spa Fitter lists hundreds of models across every major manufacturer that take one of them (yes, we're working on more sizes).

Do you offer a guarantee?

Does the AIRCAP 1™ come with a pump?
Yes, we include our own dual-action pump.
Do you make multiple colors?
Not at this time. We find DEEP GREY™ to be a beautiful addition to any spa.
How many sizes do you make?
Six sizes, covering square hot tubs from 77" to 94" across, and each AIRCAP 1™ includes three skirts for a custom fit.
How much does the AIRCAP 1™ cost?
The AIRCAP 1™ costs $1,195 in every size (77"–94"), including the pump, three Ziptech™ skirt depths, and tie-down straps. A foam cover typically runs $400–700 and needs replacing every 3–5 years; the AIRCAP 1™ has no foam to waterlog.
Is the AIRCAP 1™ custom fit?
Choose one of our six sizes that corresponds with your measurements for an amazing, near-custom fit.
Can you repair the cover if punctured?
Yes! Though damage is unlikely thanks to the AIRCAP™'s durability. All covers include a repair kit.
How long does installation take?
Typically 10–15 minutes.
Does the AIRCAP 1™ come with safety straps for children/wind?
Yes — there are four keyed locking tie-down straps.
What is the AIRCAP 1™ warranty?
Our warranty is 3 years (typical foam hot tub covers are also 3 years).
Does the AIRCAP 1™ work with coverlifts?
Yes, it works with about 80% of the coverlifts on the market. Contact us with any lifter questions.
How do I clean my AIRCAP™?
Simple soap and water work. You can also pressure wash it if you prefer.
How much does it weigh?
35–40 lbs depending on the size ordered — and unlike foam, that weight never increases, because there is no foam to absorb water.
Does the AIRCAP™ gain weight over time?
No — by design it weighs the same out of the box through end of life.
How much does a foam hot tub cover weigh?
Industry guides commonly put a new foam cover at 50–75 lbs — and a waterlogged one can more than double that.
What if my dog chews my skirt?
Your AIRCAP 1™ comes with three skirts, so you can zip on a new one — or contact us to order replacements.
Do I have to add air to my AIRCAP 1™?
That depends on many factors. You may choose to top it off once or twice a year, but it isn't necessary.
Will hail damage my AIRCAP 1™?
No.
How much weight can my AIRCAP 1™ hold on top?
We drove our 4,000 lb truck over it — no dog or snow load will break your AIRCAP 1™.
