Aahs Spas builds to order in a small number of square footprints, which makes cover matching simple. Nine of its twelve models fall inside the AIRCAP 1™ range: the 2000, 3000, Bahama and Hawaiian all share an 84" shell; the 4000, 5000 and 6000 share a 90"; the Luxor is the largest at 91"; and the Aruba is the most compact we fit at 79".
Here is how the 9 Aahs Spas models in our fitter map to AIRCAP 1™ sizes:
- The Aruba takes the AIRCAP 1™ XX-Small, which fits square spas 77–79".
- The 2000, 3000, Bahama and Hawaiian each take the AIRCAP 1™ Small, which fits square spas 83–85".
- The 4000, 5000, 6000 and Luxor each take the AIRCAP 1™ Large, which fits square spas 89–91".
Aahs builds each spa to order — the number of pumps and the placement of every jet change from one build to the next — but the shell is moulded, so the cabinet footprint does not. Two Aahs spas can differ by thirty jets and still take exactly the same cover. The Aruba is the one to measure before you order: at 79" × 78" it is an inch off square and sits right at the top of the XX-Small range, so the cover is sized from its longer side.
Every AIRCAP 1™ ships with the Ziptech™ modular skirt system, so you can zip on the right skirt depth for your cabinet instead of ordering a custom cover.
Aahs models the AIRCAP 1™ does not fit. The Oahu is the one to watch: it is published as 76" × 76", two equal numbers that look square, but it is an octagon — a retro eight-sided shell with a round footwell — and a square cover cannot sit on it. At 76" it is also an inch under our 77" minimum, so it is out twice over. The Bali (84" × 72") and the Kauai (80" × 61") are rectangles rather than squares, and no square cover fits either. The AIRCAP 1™ is built for square cabinets from 77 to 94 inches.
