Artesian Spas builds four hot tub ranges — Artesian Elite, Island Spas, Garden Spas and South Seas Spas — plus the TidalFit swim spa line. Twenty-six models across the first four are square cabinets an AIRCAP 1™ fits, in just three footprints: 78, 84 and 91 inches.
South Seas is the largest of the four ranges, and every square model in it lands in one of two sizes. Here is how all 26 map to AIRCAP 1™ sizes:
- The Garden Spas Hydrangea measures 78" × 78" and takes the AIRCAP 1™ XX-Small, which fits square spas 77–79".
- The South Seas 748L, 748B, 737LE, 737BE, 729L and 729B all measure 84" × 84", as do the Elite Eagle Crest, Garden Spas Wisteria, Island Spas Antigua and Island Spas Captiva — and so do the Antigua Elite and Captiva Elite — all twelve take the AIRCAP 1™ Small, which fits square spas 83–85".
- The South Seas 860L, 860B, 853DL, 850L, 850B, 840LE and 840BE all measure 91" × 91", as do the Elite Dove Canyon, Elite Piper Glen, Island Spas Grand Bahama and Island Spas Grand Cayman — and so do the Grand Bahama Elite and Grand Cayman Elite — all thirteen take the AIRCAP 1™ Large, which fits square spas 89–91".
The letter suffix on a South Seas model describes the seating, not the shell: L is a lounge, B is all bench seating, E marks the Elite trim and D a dual lounge. A 748L and a 748B are the same 84" cabinet, so they take the same cover.
If your cabinet badge says “Elite”, you are in the right place. Artesian sold four Island Spas models in an Elite version with its own owner’s manual — the Antigua Elite and Captiva Elite at 84" × 84", and the Grand Bahama Elite and Grand Cayman Elite at 91" × 91". Elite is a jet and equipment package, not a bigger shell: each one is the same cabinet as the model it shares a name with, so it takes the same cover. They are listed separately above only so that searching the name on your badge finds them.
Measure the cabinet, not your old cover. This matters more on Artesian than on most brands, because its biggest square cabinets are 91" and our Large size stops at 91". Replacement covers are cut slightly oversized so they sit over the lip rather than inside it, so a cover sold for a 91" Artesian is often listed as 91½" or 92" — and 92" reads as an X-Large. If you measure your worn cover, or order from a listing’s cover dimensions, you can end up one size too big. Measure across the top of the cabinet, edge to edge, and use that number.
Every AIRCAP 1™ ships with the Ziptech™ modular skirt system, so you can zip on the right skirt depth for your cabinet instead of ordering a custom cover.
Artesian models the AIRCAP 1™ does not fit. Most of the range is rectangular rather than square — including the Island Spas Nevis and Garden Spas Plume (both 84" × 78", close but six inches out), the Elite Pelican Bay (108" × 91") and the South Seas 965L (108" × 91"). The South Seas 627M is round, 78" in diameter, and a round cover cannot be replaced with a square one. The Garden Spas Camellia is square at 72" × 72", below the 77" minimum. The nine TidalFit models are swim spas, 12 to 21 feet long. The AIRCAP 1™ is built for square cabinets from 77 to 94 inches.
