Catalina Spas Replacement Hot Tub Covers

Catalina Spas, built by LPI, Inc. in Johnson City, Tennessee, lists six hot tubs on catalinaspas.com and five of them are square: the Nantucket, Berkshire, Hampton, Carlton and Armstrong. Our fitter also lists seven older models from Catalina’s Classic Collection. Here is how the 12 Catalina models in our fitter map to AIRCAP 1™ sizes:

• The Armstrong (80" × 80") takes the AIRCAP 1™ X-Small, which fits square spas 80–82".
• The Hampton (84" × 83.5") and Carlton (83.5" × 83.5"), and the older Neptune (Neptune Solo, Neptune Premium, Stealth Neptune) and Samoa (Samoa Solo, Samoa Premium, Stealth Samoa), both 84" × 84", each take the AIRCAP 1™ Small, which fits square spas 83–85".
• The older XL 21000 (87" × 87") takes the AIRCAP 1™ Medium, which fits square spas 86–88".
• The Nantucket (93.5" × 93.5") and Berkshire (92.5" × 92.5"), and the older Raptor (Raptor Premium, Stealth Raptor), Saber (Saber Premium, Stealth Saber) and XL 26000, all 93" × 93", and XL 22000 (92" × 92"), each take the AIRCAP 1™ X-Large, which fits square spas 92–94".

Berkshire owners: measure across the top. LPI’s factory spec sheets print the Berkshire at 92" square (the sheets dated 2019 to 2023) and 92.5" square (the current sheet), so we list it in the X-Large. The product description on catalinaspas.com, and the drawing of the three-pump Berkshire III, print 91". So measure across the top of the cabinet: if yours comes to 91" or less, take the Large (89"–91"); otherwise take the X-Large — between sizes, always round up. The Nantucket takes the X-Large whichever figure you go by: LPI’s sheets before 2025 print it at 92", today’s at 93.5" and the Nantucket III drawing at 93.75". Pinnacle Spas sells the Berkshire shell as its Crest, which Pinnacle prints at 93.5" (measure it the same way), and the Nantucket shell as its Transcend.

Nantucket, Berkshire, Hampton and Carlton owners: check for Tuff Top brackets. LPI sells these four with an optional Tuff Top, a hard cover that mounts on hinge brackets fixed to the cabinet. If your tub has a Tuff Top, check that those brackets will clear the AIRCAP 1™ and its skirt before ordering, or remove them. A tub bought with a foam cover or no cover has no brackets.

Older Catalina Classic models. The Raptor, Saber, XL 26000, XL 22000, XL 21000, Neptune and Samoa come from Catalina’s Classic Collection, which Catalina listed until about 2019. Their sizes are printed on Catalina’s own model pages from 2012 and 2017 and in the Classic Collection pages of Catalina’s October 2018 brochure. The XL in these names is not a cover size: the XL 21000 is 87" square and takes the Medium, while the XL 22000 and XL 26000 take the X-Large. Catalina’s 2012–2013 pages printed the XL 22000 at 94" × 94" rather than 92"; either figure takes the X-Large. Where a model came in Solo and Premium versions, both are printed at the same size. Catalina’s 2012 Stealth Series pages print the Stealth Raptor and Stealth Saber at 93" × 93" and the Stealth Neptune and Stealth Samoa at 84" × 84", the same sizes as the later Premium versions. Catalina’s early-2000s site also tied the Samoa name to its CL 700, a tub whose shape we could not confirm, so measure an early-2000s Samoa before ordering. Catalina was based in Perris, California through at least 2013; its pages name LPI, Inc. of Johnson City, Tennessee from mid-2017.

Older Catalina models not in our fitter. Catalina’s old model pages print several more tubs with equal sides, but equal numbers do not prove a square shell, and we could not confirm their shape from an overhead photo or drawing. If yours is one of them, measure across the top before ordering. If it is square, the Coronado, CL1300, CL1400, Ottawa and XL 23000 (printed 92"–93") fall in the X-Large range; the Quebec, Montreal, CL 760 and XL 15000 (87") in the Medium range; the CL400, CL 700, CL 800, CL 900 and Oceanus (84") in the Small range; and the Daytona (81") in the X-Small range.

Catalina models the AIRCAP 1™ does not fit. The sixth model in today’s range, the Kennedy, is a 66.75" × 84" rectangle that no square cover will fit, and Catalina’s swim spas on catalinaswimspas.com are all 90" wide and 151" to 250" long. Among older models, the CL 300 and CL 360 are 76" × 76", under our 77" minimum; the Avalon is round; the Maxi (61" × 81"), CL 600 (89" × 121") and Theater Spa (88" × 149") are rectangles; and the XLZ26X TV spa, printed 89" × 90.5", is too far out of square for a square cover. The AIRCAP 1™ is built for square cabinets from 77 to 94 inches.

Dimensions for today’s models are taken from the Catalina product pages and LPI’s factory spec sheets, and for the Classic models from Catalina’s 2012 and 2017 model pages and its October 2018 brochure (checked October 2026). Cabinet sizes can change between model years, so measure your spa side to side across the top of the cabinet before ordering; the SureFit™ measuring guide walks through it in two measurements. If your measurement falls between two sizes, round up.
