Dr. Wellness Spas Replacement Hot Tub Covers

What size AIRCAP 1™ fits your Dr. Wellness hot tub?

Dr. Wellness is a brand of LPI, Inc. of Johnson City, Tennessee, the same factory behind Hudson Bay, Catalina, Water’s Edge and Home and Garden — all four of which are already in this fitter. Ten of the fourteen Dr. Wellness models take an AIRCAP 1™, spread across four sizes.

Here is how the 10 Dr. Wellness models in our fitter map to AIRCAP 1™ sizes:

• The STR-34 and G-6 each take the AIRCAP 1™ X-Small, which fits square spas 80–82". The STR-34 measures 79.5", which rounds up into this size — LPI prints that same shell as both 79.5" and 80" in its own paperwork.
• The G-10K and G-7 each take the AIRCAP 1™ Small, which fits square spas 83–85".
• The G-9, G-11, G-12, G-13 and G-14 each take the AIRCAP 1™ Large, which fits square spas 89–91".
• The G-20K takes the AIRCAP 1™ X-Large, which fits square spas 92–94".

G-6 and G-7 owners: LPI swapped these two names, so check the tub rather than the badge. There are two shells here, an 82" and an 84", and the names changed places. On LPI’s December 2021 sheets the 84" shell was the G-6 and the 82" shell was the G-7. On the current sheets it is the other way round: the G-6 is 82" x 82" x 35.75" and the G-7 is 84" x 84" x 36". The jet count gives it away, because it follows the shell and not the name — the 84" spa has 51 jets in both years and the 82" spa has 52. We list the current naming, so the G-7 takes the Small and the G-6 takes the X-Small. If your spa was bought before about 2022, read those two rows the other way round, or settle it in two minutes with a tape measure across the top of the cabinet. No other Dr. Wellness model changed.

Every AIRCAP 1™ ships with the Ziptech™ modular skirt system, so you can zip on the right skirt depth for your cabinet instead of ordering a custom cover.

Models the AIRCAP 1™ does not fit: the G-2000 looks square on paper at 77" x 76.75", but those two figures are the bounding box of a corner spa — it is a five-sided three-seat wedge, not a square, so no square cover will fit it. The G-1700 (114" x 92"), G-2 (79" x 63") and G-100 (82" x 69.5") are rectangular. The AIRCAP 1™ is built for square cabinets from 77 to 94 inches.

A note on where these figures come from. They are read from LPI’s own current spec sheets, published at the factory’s sheet index rather than taken from the Dr. Wellness product pages, for two reasons. Each product page shows two “Additional Information” blocks, the second belonging to a different spa further down the page; and the PDF each page links is in several cases the December 2021 revision rather than the current one. Cabinet sizes can change between model years, so measure your spa side to side across the top of the cabinet before ordering; the SureFit™ measuring guide walks through it in two measurements. If your measurement falls between two sizes, round up.
