What size AIRCAP 1™ fits your Hydropool hot tub?
Hydropool Hot Tubs of Mississauga, Ontario, sells two hot tub lines — the Self-Cleaning collection, which Hydropool now calls its Signature collection, and the Serenity collection — and eighteen of its twenty current models are square. We also list two square models Hydropool no longer makes. Here is how the 20 Hydropool models in our fitter map to AIRCAP 1™ sizes:
- The Self-Cleaning 579 Gold (570 Gold), Self-Cleaning 579 Platinum (570 Platinum), Self-Cleaning 455 Gold, Self-Cleaning 455 Platinum, Serenity 4500, Serenity 4510, Serenity 6600 and Serenity 6610 are 80" × 80" and take the AIRCAP 1™ X-Small, which fits square spas 80"–82".
- The Self-Cleaning 655 Gold (695 Gold), Self-Cleaning 655 Platinum (695 Platinum), Self-Cleaning 679 Gold (670 Gold) and Self-Cleaning 679 Platinum (670 Platinum) are 84" × 84" and take the Small (83"–85").
- The Serenity 5900 and Serenity 6800 are 85.5" on the 2026 specification sheet and take the Medium (86"–88").
- The Self-Cleaning 728 Platinum (720 Platinum), Self-Cleaning 779 Platinum (770 Platinum) and Self-Cleaning 799 Platinum are 90" × 90" and the Serenity 6900 is 91"; all four take the Large (89"–91").
- The Self-Cleaning 790 Platinum is 94" × 94" and the Serenity 8000 (2012–2015) is 92" × 92"; both take the X-Large (92"–94").
Gold and Platinum are pump-and-jet packages on the same shell. The 4510 and 6610 are the plug-and-play versions of the 4500 and 6600.
Self-Cleaning tubs built before 2024 may carry a different number. For 2024 Hydropool renumbered the Self-Cleaning line. Apart from the rectangular 395, which became the 379, five numbers changed with no change in printed size: the 570 Gold and Platinum became the 579, the 670 became the 679, the 695 became the 655, the 720 Platinum became the 728 and the 770 Platinum became the 779, so those rows show the earlier number in brackets. Two numbers changed with the size. The 495, a 79" × 75" rectangle, was replaced by the 455, an 80" square; and the 790 Platinum, sold from 2018 to 2023 at 94" × 94", was replaced by the 799 Platinum, which Hydropool prints at 90" × 90". That is why the 790 has its own X-Large row. The number matters on older tubs too: the 725 and 775 that the 720 and 770 replaced for 2016 are different tubs, and we do not list them yet (see below). Check the model number on your paperwork before you choose.
Two figures deserve a note. Hydropool’s page for the 799 Platinum has printed 90" × 90" (229 cm) since 2024, the hard cover Hydropool sells for the 799 is one part shared with the 728 and 779, and none of Hydropool’s current Signature cabinet panels is sized for a 94" side, so we list the 799 at 90" (Large). The 94" drawing in Hydropool’s 2023 specification book is the 790’s, and the 790 had its own cover. One dealer page we checked still shows the 790’s 94" for the 799; if you are not sure which you own, measure. The 5900 and 6800 pages say 85", which would be a Small; Hydropool’s 2026 Serenity specification sheet, dated April 2026, says 85.5", and we round up, so we list the Medium. If your own measurement is 85" or under, the Small will fit. Hydropool states a manufacturing tolerance of ±3/8" on every model, so measure.
Serenity 8000. Our Serenity 8000 row is the 8000 Hydropool sold from 2012 to about 2015, drawn at 92" × 92" on its 2013 sheet. A 2008-era Serenity 8000 sheet on a dealer’s site prints 93" × 93", which would also take the X-Large, but we have not confirmed Serenity 8000s built before 2012, so measure one before ordering.
Two current Hydropool hot tubs are not listed. The Self-Cleaning 379 Gold (65" × 84") and Serenity 4300 (62" × 85") are rectangles that no square cover will fit, as were the earlier Self-Cleaning 495 (79" × 75") and 970 Titanium (110" × 94"). Four earlier Self-Cleaning tubs are left off because we cannot tell from Hydropool’s figures which cover size they take. The 625 and 675, which Hydropool drew with the same outline, are 80" on the 2013 drawings, but the 675’s web page says 211 cm (about 83"), and an older 625 sheet prints 81" and says to add about 3" for the cabinet. The 725 and 775 are 87" on the 2013 drawings, but a dealer page for the 725 calls 87" the size with the cabinet in one table and the shell size, before about 3" of cabinet, in another. Other retired models, including the Self-Cleaning 700 and 800 and the Serenity 5000, 5500, 6000 and 7000, are not listed yet because we have not confirmed their shape or size. If you own one of these, measure across the top of the cabinet and use the SureFit guide. Hydropool’s swim spas are 92" wide and 12 to 19 feet long.
Dimensions are taken from the Hydropool model pages, the 2026 Serenity technical specifications, the 2023 Signature collection specifications and drawings, and Hydropool’s 2013 specification sheets for the earlier models (September and October 2026). Cabinet sizes can change between model years, so measure your spa side to side across the top of the cabinet before ordering; the SureFit™ measuring guide walks through it in two measurements. If your measurement falls between two sizes, round up.
