Bueno Spa Replacement Hot Tub Covers

What size AIRCAP 1™ fits your Bueno Spa hot tub?

Bueno Spa is the value line of Wellis, the Hungarian hot tub maker, sold in the United States by Wellis USA. That is worth knowing when you buy a cover: the drawings in your manual, the part numbers on your pump and the paperwork in your cabinet all say Wellis, while the badge on the shell says Bueno. Both are right. Bueno has sold twelve hot tubs, and nine of them are squares that fit an AIRCAP 1™.

Here is how the 9 Bueno Spa models in our fitter map to AIRCAP 1™ sizes:

• The Jersey and Boston each take the AIRCAP 1™ XX-Small, which fits square spas 77–79".
• The Dallas, New York and Vista each take the AIRCAP 1™ Small, which fits square spas 83–85".
• The Chicago, Vacation, Denver and Hollywood each take the AIRCAP 1™ Medium, which fits square spas 86–88".

These sizes come from Wellis's own engineering drawings, not from a brochure. Bueno publishes its owner's manuals as PDFs, and each one carries a CAD plan view per model with the footprint printed in the title block — Jersey 2000×2000 mm, Dallas 2130×2130, New York 2150×2150, Chicago 2170×2170, Vacation 2180×2180, Hollywood 2200×2200, and Boston 79"×79" in the older inch-dimensioned edition. Every one is exactly square on the drawing, and the drawings are also what proves these shells are true squares with rounded corners rather than chamfered or eight-sided.

Chicago is the one to read carefully. Its 2024 drawing says 2170 mm, which is 85.4 inches — just over the 85" top of the Small range — so it takes the AIRCAP 1™ Medium, not the Small. Two things confirm it: Bueno's own earlier manual printed the Chicago as a flat 86" × 86", and Bueno sell a single cover for the Chicago and the Vacation, the Vacation being an 86" tub.

Some Bueno models are sold under more than one name. The Denver is listed by Wellis as the Cinema, and Bueno's own product photography is still filed under that name — if your spa is a Cinema, order the Denver cover. The Vacation is the same physical tub as the Wellis Rental Escape, down to the part number, so it appears on our Wellis page too — either route gets you the same Medium. The Vista, a limited run, is the Wellis Hercules under another badge, sharing part number WM00713 and the same 85" shell, so it takes the same Small.

Bueno models the AIRCAP 1™ does not fit. The Atlanta is a rectangle rather than a square — its drawing says 2130 × 1600 mm, or 83.9" × 63", nearly two feet out of square — and no square cover fits it. Two discontinued models are left out for a different reason, and it is worth being precise about it: their shells are square — we have checked the overhead photographs — but their size cannot be pinned to a manufacturer drawing. The Kansas, a 120-volt plug-in model sold alongside the Jersey, is published at 79" on a page that also prints the Dallas's part number, and Wellis drew no sheet for it. The Moreno limited edition is published at 85" and at 86" in two places on the same page, and that difference crosses the line between a Small and a Medium, so we will not guess.
