What size AIRCAP 1™ fits your Evolution hot tub?
Evolution is built by Strong Spas of Northumberland, Pennsylvania, the same factory behind AquaLife, and its square cabinets come in three sizes. Nine of the fourteen Evolution models fit an AIRCAP 1™, and they sort cleanly: four at 91", two at 85" and three at 80".
Here is how the 9 Evolution models in our fitter map to AIRCAP 1™ sizes:
- The Essence, West-Port and Mirage each take the AIRCAP 1™ X-Small, which fits square spas 80–82".
- The Highlands and Reserve each take the AIRCAP 1™ Small, which fits square spas 83–85".
- The Monarch, Oxford, Centurion and Stockbridge each take the AIRCAP 1™ Large, which fits square spas 89–91".
Stockbridge owners: use 91", not 85". The Stockbridge is the one model whose own spec sheet prints two figures — “Overall; 91 in. x 91 in.” and “Shell; 85 in. x 85 in.” The 85" is the acrylic inside; the cover has to span the cabinet, so the Stockbridge takes the Large. It sits in Evolution’s thicker DURA-LAST® dual-walled cabinet, which is why its shell is inset where other models’ are not. The Sedona uses the same cabinet, and no other Evolution model does — everywhere else the published figure is already the outside of the spa.
Every AIRCAP 1™ ships with the Ziptech™ modular skirt system, so you can zip on the right skirt depth for your cabinet instead of ordering a custom cover.
Models the AIRCAP 1™ does not fit: the Adventure and Rockport are 74.5" squares and the Enhance is 74", all below our 77" minimum. The Sedona is rectangular at 91" x 79", and the Refresh is a 95" x 52" plug-and-play spa — the wrong shape and past our 94" maximum. The AIRCAP 1™ is built for square cabinets from 77 to 94 inches.
Dimensions are as printed on evolutionspas.com, checked against each model’s own Evolution tech-overview drawing where one exists. Cabinet sizes can change between model years, so measure your spa side to side across the top of the cabinet before ordering; the SureFit™ measuring guide walks through it in two measurements. If your measurement falls between two sizes, round up.
