Hot Spring Spas spans the Highlife, Limelight, Hot Spot and Freeflow collections, and fifteen models fall inside the AIRCAP 1™ range. The Freeflow Monterey and Excursion, at 78" square, are the most compact tubs we fit; the Beam, Bolt and Pace come next; the Flash, Flair, Rhythm and Relay sit just above them; the Vanguard and Aria, and the NXT-badged versions of both, are larger again; and the Pulse and Tempo are the largest we fit.
Here is how the 15 Hot Spring Spas models in our fitter map to AIRCAP 1™ sizes:
- The Monterey and Excursion each take the AIRCAP 1™ XX-Small, which fits square spas 77–79".
- The Beam, Bolt and Pace each take the AIRCAP 1™ X-Small, which fits square spas 80–82".
- The Flash, Flair, Rhythm and Relay each take the AIRCAP 1™ Small, which fits square spas 83–85".
- The Vanguard, Aria, Vanguard NXT and Aria NXT each take the AIRCAP 1™ Medium, which fits square spas 86–88".
- The Pulse and Tempo each take the AIRCAP 1™ Large, which fits square spas 89–91".
Aria NXT and Vanguard NXT owners: your spa is the same cabinet as the Aria and Vanguard above. Watkins sold the NXT versions alongside the plain models in 2017–2019, then dropped the NXT badge while keeping the same shells and the same factory model codes — the 2019 Highlife NXT manual prints “ARIA NXT (Model ARN)” and the current manual prints “ARIA (Model ARN)”, both at 87" square. Both are listed here so that whichever name is on your paperwork, you land on the right cover.
Every AIRCAP 1™ ships with the Ziptech™ modular skirt system, so you can zip on the right skirt depth for your cabinet instead of ordering a custom cover.
Not every Hot Spring tub takes an AIRCAP 1™. The Grandee, Envoy and Prism are rectangular — and the Prism's 110" width is beyond our range entirely. The Sovereign (80" x 93") and Prodigy (84" x 78") are near-misses: both sides land inside our band, but neither tub is square. The Jetsetter and Jetsetter LX share a rectangular shell whose 68" depth is too small, the Stride, SX, Azure and Mini are also rectangular and undersized, and the TX is square but at 72" sits under our smallest size. The Aptos is round, so a square cover cannot fit it, and the Vigor is a cold plunge, not a hot tub. The AIRCAP 1™ is built for square cabinets from 77 to 94 inches.

Freeflow Monterey and Excursion owners: the sizes above are for the 2026 models, which Watkins redesigned as 78" × 78" squares (the 5-seat Monterey and 4-seat Excursion). The earlier 7-seat Monterey (about 88" × 78") and 5-seat Excursion (about 86" × 77") are rectangles, and no square cover fits them — if your spa seats seven or has a long side, measure it before ordering.
