Aquaterra Spas sells through Costco — "available exclusively at Costco.com," in the brand's own words — so there are a lot of these tubs on patios, and eight of them fit an AIRCAP 1™: four from the current lineup and four from Aquaterra's retired lineup. A retired model is exactly the situation this page is for — the manufacturer no longer sells the spa, but its cover still wears out on the same clock.
Here is how the 8 Aquaterra models in our fitter map to AIRCAP 1™ sizes:
- The Huntley measures 78" x 78" and takes the AIRCAP 1™ XX-Small, which fits square spas 77–79".
- The Brighton (80" x 80"), Montecito (81" x 81") and the retired Maderas (80" x 80") each take the AIRCAP 1™ X-Small, which fits square spas 80–82".
- The Viceroy and the retired Fairfax and Miramar each measure 84" x 84" and take the AIRCAP 1™ Small, which fits square spas 83–85".
- The retired Ventura measures 89" x 89" and takes the AIRCAP 1™ Large, which fits square spas 89–91".
Retirement doesn't change fitment: the Maderas, Fairfax, Miramar and Ventura take the same sizes they always did. Every AIRCAP 1™ ships with the Ziptech™ modular skirt system, so you can zip on the right skirt depth for your cabinet instead of ordering a custom cover.
Not every Aquaterra takes a square cover. One deserves a specific warning: the retired Newporter publishes dimensions of 78" x 78", but Aquaterra describes it as a round spa — those numbers are a round shell's footprint, and a square cover won't fit it. The Transport 3.0 is a 75" cut-corner square, below our smallest size. The Aryana, Navarro and retired Sanibel (87" x 77"), Benicia (70" x 61"), Calavera (77" x 66"), Montara (81" x 63"), and the retired Del Mar (66" x 84"), Avila (65" x 84") and Grayson (70" x 62") are rectangular shells the square AIRCAP 1™ doesn't fit.
