Aspen Spas Replacement Hot Tub Covers

What size AIRCAP 1™ fits your Aspen Spas hot tub?

Aspen Spas is a family-owned company based in St. Louis, Missouri. It sells its acrylic hot tubs from its St. Louis showroom and through independent dealers in the US, in four collections: the new Luxe Reserve, Classic, Core and Holiday. Our fitter lists eight Aspen models with square cabinets that an AIRCAP 1™ fits, counting two that Aspen no longer sells: the Canyon and the Sopris.

Here is how the 8 Aspen Spas models in our fitter map to AIRCAP 1™ sizes:

• The Eldorado and Monarch and the retired Canyon and Sopris, all listed at 82" square, each take the AIRCAP 1™ X-Small, which fits square spas 80–82".
• The Pinnacle and Arcadia, listed at 91" square, each take the AIRCAP 1™ Large, which fits square spas 89–91".
• The Luxe Reserve Avalanche and Cassian, listed at 93" square, each take the AIRCAP 1™ X-Large, which fits square spas 92–94".

Each pair shares one cabinet size. Aspen says the Eldorado was made from the Monarch’s mould. The Pinnacle and Arcadia, like the Avalanche and Cassian, are printed at the same size and share an outline but differ in seating. Aspen’s ES, GS and VS series, and the Core and Holiday versions of the Eldorado and Monarch, are listed at the same size as the model they are named after and take the same AIRCAP 1™.

Measure an 82" or 91" Aspen before you order. The Eldorado, Monarch, Canyon and Sopris are listed at exactly 82", the top of the X-Small range, and the Pinnacle and Arcadia at exactly 91", the top of the Large range. Measure across the top of your cabinet both ways: if the longer side comes to more than 82", you need the Small rather than the X-Small, and if it comes to more than 91", the X-Large rather than the Large.

Canyon and Sopris owners: Aspen listed these two 7-foot spas from at least 2011 until about 2019, both at 6′10" x 6′10" (82") — the Canyon with a lounger, the Sopris with two captain’s chairs. They are a different shell from today’s Monarch and Eldorado but have the same 82" footprint, so they take the same X-Small.

UK owners: Some Aspen tubs were sold in the UK under different names. Aspen’s 2022 owner’s manual lists 50 Hz versions under these names beside the US models, and UK parts listings use the same names: the Oceana, also known as the Oceana II, is the Pinnacle and the Aria II is the Arcadia, so both take the Large; the Illusion is the Monarch and the Obsession, also known as the Obsession II, is the Eldorado, so both take the X-Small. At least one of these names was used in the UK before 2015 for a different tub that Aspen did not make: an Obsession listed at 6′4" x 6′4" (198 cm) around 2013. The “II” in Oceana II and Aria II suggests there were earlier Oceana and Aria tubs too. Measure any UK-named tub before ordering, especially one bought before 2015.

Other brands use some of the same names. The Aspen Pinnacle is not a Pinnacle Spas tub; Royal Spa and Evolution Spas have each sold a different hot tub called the Monarch; and the Sundance Aspen 880 is a Sundance model, not an Aspen Spas tub. Hot Spring’s Aria and Passion Spas’ Joy are also different tubs from the Aspen Aria II and Joy, with their own sizes on their own brand pages. Use this page only for a tub made by Aspen Spas.

Every AIRCAP 1™ ships with the Ziptech™ modular skirt system, so you can zip on the right skirt depth for your cabinet instead of ordering a custom cover.

Not every Aspen Spas tub takes a square cover. The Alpine (82" x 92"), the Quattro and Colorado (66" x 84") and the Pioneer (71" x 79") are rectangles, and the Northstar is an 81" round tub. Their UK versions — the Venetia (Alpine), Glee (Quattro), Tao (Pioneer) and Joy (Northstar) — don’t fit either. The S.W.I.M. and Party 13 and 16 are swim spas, far longer than any hot tub. The AIRCAP 1™ is built for square cabinets from 77 to 94 inches.

Measure your own spa before ordering — cabinet sizes can change between model years. The SureFit™ measuring guide walks through it in two measurements, and works for any hot tub, Aspen Spas or not.
