What size AIRCAP 1™ fits your Beachcomber hot tub?
Beachcomber builds its hot tubs in Canada and sells them by model number, with trim levels layered on top — Hybrid, Hybrid4, LEEP, SLB and Plug-N-Play. For cover sizing the trim doesn't matter: the model number sets the shell, and every square Beachcomber shell we list — the 380, 590, 740 and 750, including their Special Edition and SLB versions — shares one 89" x 89" footprint. Beachcomber's own specifications list the cover for these models at 89" x 89" square.
Beachcomber also sells some of these tubs under other model numbers. The 658 LEEP and 678 LEEP are twins of the 380, and the 669 LEEP and 689 LEEP are twins of the 590: Beachcomber's spec page for each prints 89" x 89" and shows the 380 or 590 shell, so they share that model's photo in our fitter.
Beachcomber's own cover table — the HeatShield table in its 2025 owner's guide — puts the 480, 635 and 645 on the same 89" x 89" cover as the 380, and the 579, 639 and 649 on the same cover as the 590, and its spec table lists each of them at 89" x 89" x 38". The 480 and 579 aren't in Beachcomber's current lineup, though its online cover finder still sends both to the 89" x 89" cover; the 635, 645, 639 and 649 are new in Beachcomber's 2025 owner's guide. Beachcomber hasn't published a photo of any of these six on its site, so we list them without one. If you own one, measure before ordering to confirm your top is 89" square.
Here is how the 18 Beachcomber models in our fitter map to AIRCAP 1™ sizes:
- The Model 380, Model 380 Special Edition, Model 658 LEEP, Model 678 LEEP, Model 590, Model 590 Special Edition, Model 669 LEEP, Model 689 LEEP, Model 740, Model 740 Special Edition, Model 750 and Model 750 SLB measure 89" x 89" and take the AIRCAP 1™ Large, which fits square spas 89–91".
- The Model 480, Model 635, Model 645, Model 579, Model 639 and Model 649 are printed at 89" x 89" in Beachcomber's spec table, which points to the AIRCAP 1™ Large too — we have no photo of these shells, so measure before ordering.
An 89" shell sits at the start of that range, whichever trim yours has — a 380 LEEP, a 590 Hybrid4, a 740 Special Edition or a 750 SLB.
Every AIRCAP 1™ ships with the Ziptech™ modular skirt system, so you can zip on the right skirt depth for your cabinet instead of ordering a custom cover.
Model 580 and 680 owners: measure before ordering. Beachcomber's tables also put the 8-seat 580 and its twin, the 680, on the 89" x 89" cover, but it is a different seating layout from the tubs above and Beachcomber publishes no photo or drawing of that shell, so we can't confirm it is square and haven't listed it.
Not every Beachcomber is square. The Model 320 is Beachcomber's round tub — its spec reads "Diameter 78"" — and a square cover won't fit it. The 350, 360, 550, 570, 720 and 730 measure 80" x 88", the 340, 530, 540 and 710 measure 70" x 86", and the compact 510 (57" x 75"), 007 (45" x 86") and 009 (63" x 81") are smaller rectangles — the square AIRCAP 1™ doesn't fit those shells, whatever the trim.
Beachcomber's spec pages and tables print its other model numbers at those same round and rectangular sizes, so the AIRCAP 1™ doesn't fit them either: the 321, 365, 365L, 435, 460, 520, 538, 565, 565L, 578, 607, 715 and 725; the 008, 650, 652, 654, 655, 656, 663, 664, 665, 667, 670, 672, 674, 675, 676, 683, 684, 685 and 687 LEEP; and the 2025 numbers 630, 632, 633, 634, 637, 638, 640, 641, 642, 643, 644, 646, 647 and 648. One name to watch: the SLB75 is Beachcomber's former name for the Model 715, a 70" x 86" rectangle — not the square 750 SLB.
Beachcomber's owner's guides print these sizes for tubs built from November 2009 on, and cabinet sizes can change between model years, so measure your own spa before ordering — the SureFit™ measuring guide walks through it in two measurements, and works for any hot tub, Beachcomber or not.
