What size AIRCAP 1™ fits your Canadian Spa Company hot tub?
Canadian Spa Company — Canadian Spa Co. on its badge — is headquartered in Oakville, Ontario, and sells its acrylic hot tubs online at canadianspacompany.ca, at its Oakville showroom and through Canadian retailers including Home Depot Canada, Canadian Tire and RONA. Our fitter lists seventeen of its models with square cabinets that an AIRCAP 1™ fits, counting five from Great Lakes Spas, the company’s dealer line, and four no longer on sale at canadianspacompany.ca: the Niagara Falls, Winnipeg, Richmond and Montreal SE.
Here is how the 17 Canadian Spa Company models in our fitter map to AIRCAP 1™ sizes:
- The Cambridge, Cornwall, Winnipeg (2012–2024), Richmond and Montreal SE (2016–2018) each take the AIRCAP 1™ XX-Small, which fits square spas 77–79".
- The Toronto SE, London SE, Burnaby SE, Edmonton and the Great Lakes Erie SE, Huron, Michigan and St. Clair each take the AIRCAP 1™ Small, which fits square spas 83–85".
- The Thunder Bay SE and Victoria each take the AIRCAP 1™ Medium, which fits square spas 86–88".
- The Niagara Falls and the Great Lakes Superior each take the AIRCAP 1™ Large, which fits square spas 89–91".
Some SE and non-SE versions share a cabinet. The Toronto and Toronto SE, London and London SE, Burnaby and Burnaby SE, Thunder Bay and Thunder Bay SE, and Cambridge SE and Cambridge are the same size and take the same cover. The SE label does not always mean the same tub, though: the Montreal SE is a different, smaller spa from the Montreal (see below). Canadian Spa Company no longer sells the Niagara Falls under its own name; it was also sold as the Niagara, and Great Lakes dealers still sell it as the Niagara Falls GL.
Great Lakes Spas owners: Great Lakes is the same company’s dealer line — greatlakesspas.com and greatlakesspas.ca list the models and the dealers that sell them, and Canadian Spa Company also sells some, such as the St. Clair, directly. The Erie SE GL, Huron GL, Michigan and St. Clair are all 84" square and share one factory cover size, so each takes the Small; the St. Clair was first listed as the Michigan Non-Lounger. The Superior is 90" square, the same footprint as the Niagara Falls, and takes the Large.
Montreal and Winnipeg owners: check the year. Canadian Spa Company has reused both names. The Montreal SE sold from 2016 to 2018 is a 79" square tub and takes the XX-Small, but the Montreal sold before it (about 84" x 63") and the Montreal sold since 2019 (84" x 60") are rectangles that no square cover fits. The Winnipeg sold from about 2012 to 2024 is 79" square and takes the XX-Small. Tubs sold as the Winnipeg before 2012 may be a different size — the 2004–2009 models were about 80" square, which would take the X-Small — so measure yours before ordering.
Every AIRCAP 1™ ships with the Ziptech™ modular skirt system, so you can zip on the right skirt depth for your cabinet instead of ordering a custom cover.
Not every Canadian Spa Company tub takes a square cover. The Ottawa is listed at 79" x 79", but it is a round tub and those figures are its diameter. The Okanagan is round and the Muskoka is an octagon, both under 77"; the Saskatoon is a 63" square, below our smallest size. The Yukon (84" x 40"), Calgary, Kelowna and current Montreal (84" x 60"), Manitoba, Gander and Granby (67" x 60"), Alberta and Kingston (95" x 85") and Grand Bend (118" x 90") are rectangles, and the St Lawrence and Hudson are swim spas, far longer than any hot tub. Older tubs sold as the Victoria, Thunder Bay or Niagara before about 2010, the Ottawa sold around 2010 and the Alberta sold before 2017 were different spas, so measure an older one before ordering. The Vancouver, sold in Canada around 2013 and still sold in Europe, is about 90" square but is not in our fitter yet, so measure it before ordering too. The AIRCAP 1™ is built for square cabinets from 77 to 94 inches.
Measure your own spa before ordering — cabinet sizes can change between model years. The SureFit™ measuring guide walks through it in two measurements, and works for any hot tub, Canadian Spa Company or not.
