QCA Spas has built hot tubs in DeWitt, Iowa since 1966, and its square shells, old and new, come in a handful of footprints, which keeps cover sizing simple. Here is how the 49 QCA models in our fitter map to AIRCAP 1™ sizes:
- The Libra (GL5), Libra 110, Scorpio (GL6) and Scorpio 110 are 78" × 78" — the 110 models are the 110-volt plug-and-play versions of the same shells — and the older Excalibur is 79" × 79"; each takes the AIRCAP 1™ XX-Small, which fits square spas 77–79".
- The older Sardinia, Dream Weaver (Kitty Hawk), Dream Weaver NL, Day Dreamer, Day Dreamer NL (Heritage), Tranquility, Tranquility NL, Salerno (Yorktown), GT-289, GT-350, Palmero, Cypress, Crete and Corsica are 82" × 82" and each take the AIRCAP 1™ X-Small, which fits square spas 80–82".

- The Moonstone Deluxe (Moonstone PM), Capricorn, Aquarius (E850, M870), Supreme PM (Paradise Supreme PM) and Supreme XLP (Paradise Supreme XLP), and the older Moonstone (Moonstone +3), are 92" × 92" and each take the AIRCAP 1™ X-Large, which fits square spas 92–94".
Many QCA tubs have had more than one name. Until about the end of 2024 QCA sold its Majestic Supreme PM, Supreme XLP, Ultra, Ultra XLP, Island PM and Island XLP with a Paradise prefix — the Paradise Supreme XLP, for example, is the Supreme XLP above — and in 2026 it renamed the Ultra XLP the Diamond. In 2024 the Moonstone PM became the Moonstone Deluxe, and QCA swapped its Peridot Series codes for zodiac names: the GL5 became the Libra, the E550 the Pisces, the E650 the Gemini (the M670 was a higher-jet E650) and the E850 the Aquarius, with the higher-jet M870 on the same 92" footprint. The GL6 and M770 print the same footprints, depth included, as the Scorpio (78" × 78" × 38") and the Capricorn (92" × 92" × 40"), so they take the same sizes. QCA’s 2023 Gemstone Deluxe PM printed the same 84" × 84" × 40" as the Gemstone Deluxe and Island PM, so it takes the Small too.
Some older QCA names print the same footprint as a newer model above, but we can’t confirm they are the same tub, so they have their own rows — at the same sizes: the Moonstone and Moonstone +3 (92" × 92", like the Moonstone Deluxe), the Coral and Coral +3 (87" × 87", like the Coral Deluxe), and QCA’s Paradise, Paradise XL and Paradise XLP (87" × 87", like the Ultra and Ultra XLP).
Bought your QCA at Home Depot or Lowe’s? QCA built tubs for both stores, some under its second brand, USA Spas, and the stores sold them under their own names. QCA’s spec sheets for most of those tubs print a QCA model number, which links several of them: Lowe’s Heritage is Model 3, which QCA sold as the Day Dreamer NL, and Lowe’s Kitty Hawk is Model 4L, QCA’s Dream Weaver. Home Depot’s Salerno (Model 5) and Lowe’s Yorktown (Model 5A) are one mold, as are Lowe’s Charleston (Model 6ABR) and Home Depot’s Valletta (Model 6Br); Home Depot’s Naples and Lowe’s Carolina are both Model 23LA. Home Depot also sold the 82" Sardinia, and Lowe’s the 87" Myrtle Beach (Model 6LBr) and the 79" Excalibur (Model 26L). Lowe’s Myrtle Beach is not the Clearwater Spas Myrtle Beach, an 84" tub on our Clearwater page that takes the Small. Not every store model is square: Home Depot’s Gibraltar (Model 2L) is 82" × 79" and Lowe’s Camelot (Model 25) is round, so no AIRCAP 1™ size fits either. Other names get reused too: Lowe’s Heritage and Kitty Hawk are not Viking’s 92" Heritage or Dynasty’s 83" Kitty Hawk Bay, and QCA’s Paradise is not the Coast Spas Paradise or Lifesmart’s Paradise DLX, both about 81" and X-Small, so check who made your tub before choosing a row.
Older QCA models without a photo. We have no usable top-down photo of most of QCA’s retired tubs, so they are listed without one, sized from QCA’s own product pages, spec sheets and replacement covers. QCA’s own replacement-cover listings describe a square 81½" cover for the Day Dreamer, Dream Weaver, Tranquility, GT-289, GT-350, Palmero, Cypress, Crete, Corsica and Salerno, made for an 82" × 82" spa; a square 86" cover for the Coral, Garnet, Grand Bahama, GT-396, GT-454, Miami, Paradise and Pearl, for an 87" × 87" spa; and a square 91" cover for the Moonstone and Paradise Supreme, for a 92" × 92" spa. QCA’s product pages print the NL (no-lounger) versions of the Dream Weaver and Tranquility at 82" × 82" too, and QCA uses the name Palmero for more than one of its 82" tubs. The GT-500 isn’t on those covers, but QCA prints it at 87" × 87" with the same 6-seat, 93-jet Ultra Wave Lounger layout as the Naples and Carolina, and its dealer cover list puts it on one 87" line with the GT-396 and GT-454. QCA’s spec-sheet photos of the Kitty Hawk, Salerno, Yorktown, Excalibur, Charleston, Valletta and Myrtle Beach show square shells but are too small to use. If you own one of these models, measure before ordering to confirm your top is square at that size.
Grand Bahama owners: measure both ways. QCA’s 2019 Grand Bahama XLP page, its square 86" cover and its dealer cover list all put the Grand Bahama at 87" × 87", but its 2017 pages for the plain Grand Bahama and the Grand Bahama XL print 82" × 79". If yours measures 86–88" both ways, it takes the Medium; if it measures about 82" one way and 79" the other, no AIRCAP 1™ size will fit it. This is QCA’s Grand Bahama. Clearwater Spas and Artesian’s Island Spas have each sold a different hot tub called the Grand Bahama, at 93" and 91"; they are on our Clearwater and Artesian pages.
Same name, different tub: check the year. The Topaz and Ruby in our fitter are the 84" tubs in QCA’s late-2024 catalog. QCA’s earlier Topaz (Topaz +, Topaz +2) and Ruby (Ruby +, Ruby +2, QCA’s Model 2L) measure 82" × 79", and QCA sold no Topaz or Ruby for several years before 2024, so one built before 2024 is the 82" × 79" rectangle, which no AIRCAP 1™ size fits. The Diamond is QCA’s 2026 name for the 87" Ultra XLP; QCA’s original Jewel Series Diamond is a 78½" octagon, and no AIRCAP 1™ size fits it. The Pisces and Gemini in our fitter are the 85" Star Series tubs QCA has sold since 2024. QCA’s earlier Star Series Pisces and its twin, the Virgo, both sold before 2020, are printed at 87" × 87", but we couldn’t confirm their shape, so measure: if yours is square at 86–88", it takes the Medium. QCA also sold a Star Series Gemini and a Galaxy around 2010–2013 whose sizes we couldn’t confirm; measure either before ordering.
Measure first. QCA prints a few other older models at square sizes, but we haven’t been able to confirm their shape from a photo, a drawing or a consistent QCA square-cover listing, so they aren’t in our fitter: the GT-440 (82" × 82", with a 36–41½" depth) and the Tuscan River XP (82" × 82", 40–46" deep); the Gemstone and Gemstone +3 (84" × 84" × 36", a shallower tub than the 40"-deep Gemstone Deluxe) and the Marcelle and Siena (84" × 84"); the E750 (92" × 92" × 40", like the M770); and the St Croix, which QCA’s cover listing describes as a square 92½" spa although QCA’s cover for it is 90½" × 91". QCA prints the M570 at 85" × 85" on its product pages but lists it with its 92" models in its dealer cover list, so measure it before choosing a size.
Seven current QCA models are rectangles and no AIRCAP 1™ size will fit them: the Jade Deluxe and Jade 110 (84" × 67" on the product page, 82" × 65" in the catalog), Amber Deluxe and Amber 110 (84" × 72"), Aries 110 (78" × 60") and the Leo and Leo 110 (78" × 68"). The discontinued Opal Deluxe (93" × 73") is also a rectangle, and QCA’s swim spas are 92" wide by 13 to 19 feet long. Many older QCA tubs aren’t square either. The Venus, GT-305, GT-327, Grand Cayman and St Maarten (and their XL and XLP versions) are 82" × 79"; the Turquoise is 91¾" × 93¼", 1½" out of square; the Cozumel, Cozumel Plus, Cozumel Ultra, Star Gazer and Orion are about 80" × 74" — so a Cozumel Ultra is not the 87" Ultra; the Mystic and Navigator are 80½" × 56½"; the Dream Star and Silver Star are 91" × 42" ovals; the Riviera is a corner spa and the Serenity is round; and the Amethyst, Antigua, Aquamarine, Aruba, Opal, Curacao, Citrine, Dominica, Peridot (the model, not the Peridot Series), Trinidad, GL3, GL4, E350 and M370 are rectangles. If you own one of these, a square cover is the wrong purchase at any price.
