Three practical reasons to rethink your next hot tub cover.
AirLoc™ panels have no foam core to soak up water, so the cover weighs the same out of the box and years later: 35–40 lb, depending on size.
Learn about water resistanceThe sealed AirLoc™ air core has nothing in it to absorb water, so its insulation stays consistent for the life of the cover.

Get fit helpThe Hudson Bay Spas X-12, which measures about 92" x 92", takes the AIRCAP 1 X-Large, which fits square hot tubs measuring 92 to 94 inches across. Measure your spa side to side across the top of the cabinet to confirm the size before ordering.
The Hudson Bay Spas HB30, which measures about 80" x 80", takes the AIRCAP 1 X-Small, which fits square hot tubs measuring 80 to 82 inches across. Measure your spa side to side across the top of the cabinet to confirm the size before ordering.
The Hudson Bay Spas HB29 (HB-2900), which measures about 79.5" x 79.5", takes the AIRCAP 1 X-Small, which fits square hot tubs measuring 80 to 82 inches across. Measure your spa side to side across the top of the cabinet to confirm the size before ordering.
The Hudson Bay Spas HB34 (HB-3400), which measures about 79.5" x 79.5", takes the AIRCAP 1 X-Small, which fits square hot tubs measuring 80 to 82 inches across. Measure your spa side to side across the top of the cabinet to confirm the size before ordering.
Hudson Bay is an LPI, Inc. brand from Johnson City, Tennessee, sold factory-direct through Aqua Living Factory Outlets, LPI’s own store. The brand site’s catalog is offline at the time of writing, so today’s figures come from the Aqua Living product pages and LPI’s spec sheets, which agree on the footprint of every model we list. The X-12 is 92" × 92" and takes the AIRCAP 1™ X-Large (fits 92"–94"). The HB30 at 80" and the HB29 and HB34 at 79.5" — the same six-seat shell with 29 and 34 jets, and 79.5 rounds up to 80 — take the X-Small (80"–82"). All four sit at the bottom of their size’s range, so measure across the top of your cabinet both ways before ordering: if the longer side of an X-12 comes to 91" or less, you need the Large rather than the X-Large, and if the longer side of an HB30, HB29 or HB34 comes to 79" or less, the XX-Small rather than the X-Small. Sister LPI brands are on our Catalina, Dr. Wellness, Water’s Edge and Home and Garden pages.
Older names, and the same shell under another badge. Hudson Bay’s own site named the HB29 and HB34 the HB-2900 and HB-3400 in 2016, so older paperwork may use those names. They are the same shells, and Hudson Bay’s 2019 product pages and LPI’s 2023 sheets printed both at 80" × 80", which takes the same X-Small. The X-12 is the same shell LPI sold as the Dr. Wellness X-12 Lifestyle: LPI’s own top-view photo of the Dr. Wellness X-12 shows this shell, and LPI’s November 2022 Dr. Wellness sheet prints it at 92" × 92", so it takes the same X-Large. That sheet pictures the same seat layout, lounger and footwell with a different set of jets — it lists 85, and today’s Hudson Bay sheet lists 65 — so measure a Dr. Wellness X-12 from before 2023 across the top before ordering: 92"–94" takes the X-Large, and 89"–91" the Large.
Eight of today’s Hudson Bay models are not listed. The HB19 is square but 76" × 76", an inch under our smallest size; the X-3 is square too, but LPI’s 2025 sheets print it at 75.25" × 75.25" on one and 76" × 76" on the other, under our smallest size either way; and the HB31 is a 72" square. The HB19, called the HB-1900 on Hudson Bay’s 2016 pages, is the same 76" shell in every year we found, so an older one does not fit either. The HB14C is a corner triangle whose two 71.75" figures are its legs, not a square. The HBSL (35.75" × 79.5"), HB15 (59" × 69"), HB18 (61" × 81.75") and X-6 (78" × 84") are rectangles. Hudson Bay sells no swim spas.
Older Hudson Bay models. Hudson Bay’s 2019 line-up also included the HB14O and HB21O, which its own photos show are oval, and the HB14, a two-seat rectangular tub; no square cover fits them. In 2022 its site also listed the HB150R, HB250R, HB450R and HB650R. Hudson Bay printed the roto-molded HB650R at 77" × 77", but we have found no top view or drawing that shows it is square, so we have not listed it, and we have found no printed size or top view for the other three. If you own one of these four and it is square, measure it across the top and round any fraction up: 77"–79" takes the AIRCAP 1™ XX-Small, a larger figure up to 94" takes the size whose range covers it, and at 76" or less no AIRCAP 1™ size fits.
Dimensions for today’s models are taken from the Aqua Living product pages and the LPI spec sheets dated 2025 (September 2026), and for older models from Hudson Bay’s own product pages of 2019 and 2022 and LPI’s 2022 and 2023 sheets; every current Hudson Bay shell has a 6" corner radius. Cabinet sizes can change between model years, so measure your spa side to side across the top of the cabinet before ordering; the SureFit™ measuring guide walks through it in two measurements. If your measurement falls between two sizes, round up.
